Abstract

This research was conducted in Ujung Mauli Village, Pematang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency in December 2023 using survey and interview methods as many as 30 respondents of pine resin tappers. Data collected in the form of Primary and Secondary data, using a list of questions (questionnaires) to pine resin tapping farmers, collectors / retail traders, large traders. The marketing distribution of pine sap in Ujung Mauli Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency is that farmers sell through middlemen or collectors. Collecting traders and retailers will sell directly to the factory once every 1 month. The lowest marketing margin value is in marketing distribution 2 in marketing carried out by collecting traders. Marketing carried out by farmers does not require much marketing costs because the transportation costs incurred are carried out by collectors to sell to the factory. The most efficient marketing distribution is marketing distribution 1 at the farm level because the Share Margin value is 77.27%. While marketing distribution 2 has a Share Margin result with a value of 17.60%.
