KINERJA KELOMPOK TANI HUTAN (KTH) KARYA LESTARI DALAM PENGELOLAAN LAHAN IZIN USAHA PEMANFAATAN HUTAN KEMASYARAKATAN (IUPHKM) DI DESA SIBAGANDING KECAMATAN GIRSANG SIPANGANBOLON KABUPATEN SIMALUNGUN

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the performance of the Karya Lestari Forest Farmers Group (KTH) in managing the IUPHKm land it manages from the aspects of institutional management, aspects of managing the area and aspects of managing the business and knowing the performance predicate of the Karya Lestari Forest Farmers Group (KTH). The data analysis method is descriptive by collecting information from a sample by asking through questionnaires or interviews to describe various aspects of the population. This study uses sampling with purposive sampling method, namely the determination of respondents with certain considerations where the object of research is homogeneous because the performance is carried out on one farmer group, namely the Karya Lestari Forest Farmer Group. The members of the Karya Lestari Forest Farmer Group are 126 people, so the number of respondents selected is 32 people, which is 25% of the total number of farmer group members. Based on the research results, KTH Karya Lestari has good performance from the aspect of institutional management with a score of 305. From the aspect of managing the area, it has good performance with a score of 170. From the aspect of managing the business, it has good performance with a score of 330. The total value of KTH Karya Lestari's performance is 805, so that the predicate of KTH Karya Lestari's performance is First Class KTH.
