Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the influence of leadership style and motivation on employees performance on the employees of Sub Bagian Penyusunan Program Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) Kabupaten Simalungun.

 The research design used are Library Research and Field Research. The sample used in this research consists of 62 respondents from 62 employees. The method of sampling used in by saturated sampling, method data analysis used are multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of data analysis, the regression equations obtained are as follows:

 

Ŷ = 29,276 + 0,230 Xt + 0,446 X2

The result of the research using t test that leadership style and motivation have positive significant infuence to employees performance. The result of the research simultanly using F test, shoes that all of the independent variables influence significant to employees performance. The coefficient determinant (R2) is 0,407 which 40,7% employees performance variation explained by independent variables, where as 59,3% ecplained by another variables which is not followed.
