Population of this research was eight grade with three classes which consists of 136 students and the sample of research was 34 students in one class. Population of this research was grade seventh with 2 classes&nbsp; which consists 61 students and the sample of this research was 30 students in one class. The result of the research was the mean score is 14 the standard deviation is 71 t<sub>test</sub> of research (9,10) with the significant difference is 0,19. Data was collected by giving pre-test and post-test. The population of this study was 198 people and the research sample was students of class X OTKP SMK Prama Arta Bandar Huluan Private School year 2022/2023. The researcher took 1 class as a sample of class X OTKP SMK Prama Arta Bandar Huluan which consisted of 33 students. The sample was taken using saturated sampling. The results showed that the students' ability to write procedural texts using YouTube videos on the pre-test and post-test differed significantly. The t-test value is greater than the t-table. That is t-value (1.782) &gt; t-table (1.756) and sig. (2-tailed) lower post test scores 0.000 &lt;0.05. This shows that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It can be concluded that the application of YouTube videos is effective in improving students' ability to write procedural texts. While the average score of students' perceptions of using YouTube videos was 81. The researcher useddescriptive qualitative method. the population is the students of tenth grade researcher took one classes. From the calculation above, all the number of population is 68 students.So the researcher will take 34 students as a sample. The technique of collecting data was Validityand Reliability.mark omission (OM), addition (AD), misformation (MF) and misordering (MO).The occurance of omission error was 57, the occurance of addition error was 29, the occurrence of misformation error was 5 and the occurances of misordering error was 7. Occurrences which totaled was 79. The most dominant error made by students in writing descriptive text was 57 occurrences or about 72,15 % in omission. Most often errors occurred was error of omission about 29 (36,71%) occurrences. This types of error was usually caused by carelessness. Carelessness occurred when the students are not deliberate to do some mistakes, but the result showed that it was the mistake. The researcher carried out in class XI TKR 5 of the SMK SWASTA 2 TAMANSISWA PEMATANG SIANTAR. This research used the quantitative approach with an experimental design by using the one-group design by cluster sampling technique for choosing 32 students from class XI TKR 5 and every student would give the pre-test and post-test for data collection. The technique of collecting the data is by using the statistic application called SPSS 21.0 version. Based on the hypothesis testing, it is be shown that T<sub>counted</sub> = 65,000 &gt; T<sub>table</sub> = 1,695 which indicates that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This research is an experimental which was conducted at SMPN 7 Pematangsiatar. Academic year 2022/2023. The population of this research was the second grade which distributed into two classes with total 64 students. Experimental class consisted of 32 students and control class consisted 32 students. The instruments for collecting data in this research was written test in form multiple choice test, consist of 20 questions. Pre-test and post-test were conducted in both, experimental and control group. The data of post-test was analyzed by using SPSS Version 22.00. The result of the research shows that the testing hypothesis of post-test scores was found that that t<sub>count </sub>(0.970)&nbsp; &gt;t<sub>table&nbsp; </sub>(2.188) at the significance level α =0.05 with the degrees of freedom (df) = 31, and 0,340 for the sig (2-tailed). The objective of the research is to find whether the use on Instagram as a Media can improve students’ writing skills in descriptive text at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar for the academic year 2022/2023. The research was quantitative research. For the data collection, there were pre-test and post-test. The population of this research 360 students’ in research academic year 2022/2023 with of 36 students’ was the sample. The data analysis was at tenth grade students’ stared from scoring pre-test and post-test and finding the different mean of the score. Based on the data analysis, the writer finding pre-test students’ mean score only 60,75 and after the treatment, the writer used to post-test to know students’ improve writing ability score. The result of the test found the average of the pos-test mean score test was 81,03. Alternative universe (AU) Twitter is a form of digital literary work or a type of fiction with many fans in Indonesia where the setting and situation are made different from the real life of the characters in the story. The purpose of this study is to describe the types and forms of code mixing in the Twitter alternative universe (AU) on the @jhynjelly account which tells of two people who are in a relationship who do not know each other's backgrounds, in the end they get an unexpected fate. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method. The data for this research are in the form of words, phrases and clauses which include mixing Indonesian and English codes in uploads to the Twitter account @jhynjelly.
