Abstract

This research is motivated by the opportunity to develop tourist attractions in villages so that they can support education for visitors and influence the economy of managers and the surrounding community. The aim of this research is; 1) To find out the potential of The Village Silulu tourist attraction, 2) To formulate a strategy for developing The Village Silulu tourist attraction. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis used to analyze the tourism potential of The Village Silulu by describing and calculating values using a Likert scale, SWOT analysis techniques by calculating IFAS and EFAS values and reviewing the position of tourist objects on the SWOT diagram, and the SWOT Matrix is used in drawing conclusions in the form of a development strategy. The research results show that the potential tourist attraction of The Village Silulu has a total score of 951 from the assessment of Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodation, Amenities, Activities, as well as publications and marketing. This value is in the very worthy category of development. Based on the IFAS and EFAS calculations, the tourist attraction has an internal factor value of 1.88 and an external factor of 2.80, so it is in quadrant 1 of the SWOT diagram, so it can implement the SO strategy, namely making tour package brochures, increasing the choice of educational activities and playing fun games. , adding game facilities, improving the quality of human resources and setting service standards, the presence of Mr. Togu Simorangkir to meet guests, arranging and maximizing the characteristics of The Village Silulu, providing souvenirs, and maximizing promotional media and creating interesting content.
