Abstract

Organic farming is a farming activity that is friendly to the environment. Organic farming tries to minimize negative impacts on the surrounding nature. The research was conducted in Bone Bolango Regency, East Bulango District, with the consideration that (1) 5 villages out of a total of 5 villages in East Bulango District have started implementing organic farming systems, (2) adequate data is available and (3) ease of use. collect data for researchers. The research sample was carried out using the census sampling method, namely taking a total sample of all members of the population. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that organic farming in East Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency with the first indicator has attended training on organic farming systems. 17 farmers answered Yes, 10 farmers answered No, the second indicator is Increased production when implementing an organic farming system 26 farmers answered Yes, 1 farmer answered No, the third indicator is whether they plan to expand the organic farming system, 14 farmers answered Yes, 13 farmers answered No, the fourth indicator is whether they have their own market for their products organic farming 13 people answered Yes and 14 others answered No. Most of them responded that organic farming was good because it was environmentally friendly but difficult to implement and did not meet targets because maintenance and growth were slower than when they used conventional farming or when they used chemical fertilizers instead of using organic fertilizers.
