Abstrak

This community service activity aims to increase young people's interest in agriculture, which has recently become a threat to agricultural development. If this continues without a solution, it will lead to a decline in agricultural development. One solution that can be done is to provide education about the cultivation of agricultural plants from as early as possible, starting from elementary school students, which is packaged as attractively as possible with verticulture farming. This service activity was carried out at the private RK Deli Murni Sibolangit Middle School. The method used to educate junior high school students is by creating verticulture farming using pots that extend upwards and using shelves arranged in tiers. And it was taught that the plants planted were vegetable plants. This service is carried out by lecturers in collaboration with students and partner schools. The implementation of this service is in accordance with several courses listed in the curriculum and is applied to community service activities. From the results of the service carried out, it can be seen that the enthusiasm of the students at RK Deli Murni Sibolangit private junior high school is very high
